Newcomer idol Hayashi Miki (aka "Miki-pon") (blog), an 18-year-old with a waist of 53cm selected from within 16217 girls, has a debut single coming up, the A-side "Idol ni naritai." ("I want to be an idol.") is words/music/arranged/produced by Konishi Yasuharu.
I'm also looking forward to the B-side which is a cover of The Moonriders' hit song, also produced by Konishi-san. He claims that he didn't know that Nomiya Maki covered this song before, on the Moonriders' tribute album "Moon Bossa".
The single will be available as CD-only and also as a limited edition with bonus DVD including a video clip plus a 24-page photo book. Tokiwa Hibiki did the art direction.
