Coastlines "East Coast / West Coast" (7")
Following their self-titled album "Coastlines" (2019), here come two new songs by Coastlines (Bandcamp), the instrumental unit of DJ/producer Masanori Ikeda (aka Mansfield) and keyboardist Kaneko Takumi (of cro-magnon). The songs are being released on 7".
"'East Coast' with a slow and punchy drumming, an impressive electric piano riff, and acoustic piano solo, with a spiritual jazz feeling like Strata-East or Black Jazz.
Slow Jam Fusion's 'West Coast' with melancholic fretless bass solo and synth pads dancing on a Brazilian-like jazzy hip-hop beat.
