Have you heard Cibo Matto's new album yet? "Hotel Valentine" was released in the U.S. on Valentine's day, almost 15 years since "Stereotype A" (1999). The new sounds are very fresh but also reminiscent of their earlier material.
The Japanese edition comes a bit late but with a reward, as it includes two exclusive bonus tracks!

Saw their release show on Valentines day. Didn't know about the Japan only tracks though not uncommon. In the US they did a very limited preorder clear vinyl LP with personalized Valentine's Day card and signed more after the sold out show. Another show is next weekend with Buffalo Daughter opening. But it's at the same time as Kyary Pamu Pamu's world tour show, what a dilemma.

Wow, indeed! I really hope Cibo Matto plays in Tokyo soon. I can't wait to see them after all these years!

I heard snippets of the bonus tracks. Front Desk is a short comical spoken word track of Miho speaking to a hotel guest over the phone about their missing suitcase. Party Time Feeling is a cool electro/dance track that fits well with the album. Can't wait to hear the full tracks soon!
