Tokyo toy-instrument-only rock'n'roll band Childish Tones (Instagram, Twitter) feat. Beni Usakura (Instagram, Twitter) has a new 7" single coming this month. Both songs are covers: Plastics' "Top Secret Man" and The Vibrators' "Yeah Yeah Yeah" (this one sung in Japanese). Watch the music video of "Top Secret Man" below, filmed with a toy camera in Shimokitazawa, part of it at Pink Moon Records (record shop of Keiichi Sokabe). It was filmed & edited by atsucorid POW using a toy camera, with added titles by band member Nishioka Diddley.
The release is limited to 400 copies, and comes with a QR code that allows listening to the songs. Aside from the shops linked below, within Japan the 7" can be ordered directly from the label here.
Upcoming shows of Childish Tones (though not with Beni Usakura this time) will be held on October 21 at Shinjuku Motion (details), and at event "Back From The Grave 'Halloween Ball 2022'" on October 23 at Shinjuku Loft (details).
