"Scratching The Surface: Japan" is a documentary about the underground hip-hop culture in Japan as of 2003, as seen by UK director Suridh Hassan. After having been shown at film festivals around the world (Vancouver, London, Leeds, Copenhagen), it's first released on DVD in Japan. Featured are artists such as Afra, MSC, DJ Baku, Inden and more, and street artists QP (my favorite) and Very One.
