Prof. Sakamoto (aka Sakamoto kyōju, a nickname that usually refers to Sakamoto Ryūichi but not in this case) is an 8-bit artist also known for being able to play just about any Famicom game theme on a synthesizer off the top of his head. Here he brings us an album of covers of hit J-pop songs from the 80's and 90's, all rearranged 8-bit style.
The first pressing comes with a bonus DVD expected to contain the music video seen below. HMV also gives away a badge (while supplies last).
