Tokyo's Coolest Sound

Haruomi Hosono (Instagram, 𝕏) has released a brand new album today, said to be his 23rd. Titled "Yours Sincerely", it's an international release that you may find in your country (via Ghostly International), but below you'll find the information on the Japanese editions. Among new originals, also included are some covers: The Moonglows' "Sincerely", Edward MacDowell's "To a Wild Rose", Liszt's "Liebesträume No.3", and Beethoven's "Figlio Perduto" ("Symphony No. 7, II. Allegretto"). Two songs feature guest vocalists: Miharu Koshi (on "Figlio Perduto") and Ayaka Nakata (on "To a Wild Rose").

In Japan, there are three CD editions available, two LP editions, and a casette edition. There's a special limited edition boxed edition with a 48-page booklet and extra goodies, and a regular CD edition that comes with a 24-page booklet (of which a set with a limited hankerchief is also available). Both types of booklets include self liner notes. The LP editions also have a leaflet with self liner notes, and there's a limited LP edition with many goodies.

The album is also available digitally: (Japan), (World), Spotify, OTOTOY (FLAC only), etc.

A demo version of "Lieberstraume" was included on the tribute album "Paraiso, no ongaku" released last December on CD and last month on vinyl.
