Seems like she's asking to get confused with a better known Yoshimi (Boredoms, OOIOO), who by the way is on the alternate cover of this month's Fader Magazine in the U.S.. BTW, she's captioned as "Yoshimi of the Boredoms" on that cover and they also talk to Eye.

There have been at least one or two other artists releasing as "Yoshimi" too. Actually, [I know you will] correct me if I'm wrong, but Boredoms' Yoshimi not having released anything under that name (not hers alone anyway, I know of Yoshimi & Yuka), I wouldn't think she'll be the main victim of any confusion.

Not so much in Japan, but outside of Japan Boredoms Yoshimi quite well known. That's not the first non-Japanese music magazine she's been on the cover of.
Then again I've had to overseas fans that Miho isn't Miho Hatori.
