Ryusenkei, the project of Cunimondo Takiguchi, has released last month a mini-album featuring Yasuyuki Horigome (ex-Kirinji). Included are four vocal songs that were released in advance digitally, plus an unreleased piece titled "incomplete". It had been 16 years since the previous album as Ryusenkei, "Tokyo Sniper" (2006).
Early versions of the songs and also the vocal tracks were first recorded 6 years ago, and left incomplete for all that time. The music was re-recorded with the band featuring mainly drummer Kitayama Yūko, guitarist Yamanouchi Toshio, percussionist Hirano Eiji, keyboardist Hirahata Tetsuya and bassist Matsuki "Makkin" Toshirō, with strings arrangements by Shin Rizumu and background vocals by Natsu Summer.
Collaborations of Ryusenkei with Yasuyuki Horigome were also featured on soundtrack album "Talio" (2020).
Ryusenkei also released just recently a new song featuring Alisa Takigawa, a cover of "zansho" (written by Yuming, originally sung by Reimy), available digitally (, Spotify, YouTube Music, OTOTOY). Also don't miss Natsu Summer & Ryusenkei's new album "Sun Kissed Lady" out in July.
