Tokyo's Coolest Sound

Ryusenkei (project of Cunimondo Takiguchi) and hitomitoi have teamed up to produce the city pop-themed soundtrack of the currently ongoing NHK TV series "Talio". After releasing the song "kanashii kurai Diamond" digitally last month (Spotify, ), here comes the full album with all of the show's BGM plus a few other vocal songs, with two featuring Horigome Yasuyuki (ex-Kirinji). The artwork is by famous illustrator Hiroshi Nagai (Instagram).

The recording musicians are drummer Kitayama Yūko, bassist Matsuki "Makkin" Toshirō, guitarist Yamanouchi Toshio, keyboardist Hirahata Tetsuya, percussionist Hirano Eiji, and keyboardist Shiina Akiko.

"Talio" can be watched on NHK G every Friday from 22:00, repeated on Tuesday late night from 25:20. Just two more episodes to go.
