maybe I'm out of the loop (okay, so not maybe -- definately), but I don't get why you would need to remaster an album that was made less than 5 years ago ... why not just rerelease it? or is that pretty much all that is going on?

A bit strange indeed. I wonder if it will sound pretty much the same or if it will be quite different to match their recent mood or something. :)

You're right, I hadn't noticed that. These were bonus tracks of the previous edition, and weren't on the Sur La Plage (UK) release either.
