Here comes the third of the "Pizzicato Five On Demand" trilogy! The "Takanami keitaro edition" and "Konishi yasuharu edition" are of course followed by the "Nomiya maki edition", with this time 38 tracks! Some vinyl-only and non-album tracks are included, as well as a previously unreleased cover of Kraftwerk's "Tachenrechner" (aka "Dentaku").
A 2-CD compilation based on these digital releases will be released on November 24, with some new edits & new mixes by Konishi Yasuharu, the whole all newly remastered this year.
A 7" will be released for the upcoming Record Day 2021 on November 27, containing the songs "À Tokyo" and "Playboy Playgirl". Pre-orders can be placed at Amazon, HMV, etc.

It’s only just occurred to me why some really obvious songs & singles were missed off the last best of, and why they haven’t done a more complete round of rereleases. It’s all about the samples! They’ve mostly been rerecorded or just missed off. Really noticeable on Go Go Dancer, Thank You and À Tokyo. I wonder if we’ll ever get a sample-less Twiggy Twiggy or Darlin of Discotheque, they’ll be pretty tricky!

Interesting! That might be it!
This compilation from last year seemed mostly themed around releasing songs on 7" for the first time, which might also be why "Twiggy Twiggy" didn't make it.

Yeah, I guessed that was why ‘Happy Sad’, ‘Baby Portable Rock’ & ‘La règle du jeu’ were on the cd, but not the 7” box, but doesn’t explain why ‘Twiggy Twiggy’ wasn’t on the cd, or any of the new compilations. Plus the single version of ‘I Hear a Symphony’ was in the box & that’s been on two 7”s before! Konishi must really like it! Anyway, I’m enjoying the new versions & it’ll nice to get ‘em on cd soon!
