Konishi Yasuharu fans have something fun to look forward to! He produced this soundtrack for Cheburashka (Чебурашка), the cute big-eared Russian character very popular in Japan.
The CD, which contains 6 songs, will also be available in a limited edition that comes with a picture book and two mini-figures.

I was really asking my self lately if Konishi had retired... he doesn't seem to be doing anything theses days: no new music, no producing, no DJing... well, he's getting old, I guess ;)

No way! He's been DJing about every week, except for his yearly break in January. Also he's been an active musician in his band MAEZONO Naoki Group.

Btw, I think he just turned 50 this week!

I'm glad to know about Konishi! I had no idea of this new band! He's one of my music idols and I couldn't wait to hear somehting about him! Thanks for the news, patrick!
