Tokyo's Coolest Sound

Machi Akari has released a new single of two songs, coinciding with the 10th anniversary of her major debut. "Yokohama Dilemma" and "boku no umare wa Kōriyama" (this one named after a town of Fukushima prefecture where her mom is from) are available on a CD single, which also includes an English version of "Yokohama Dilemma", karaoke versions and a bonus track. Music videos of both songs can be watched below.

This release follows CDs "Machi Akari Techno Phase I" and "Phase II" out at the end of last year.

Machi Akari will make appearances at free festivals this weekend: July 5 (from 12:15) and July 6 (from 15:10) at the Yokohama Tanabata Matsuri 2025 (details), and July 6 from 17:00 and 18:00 at the Shitamachi Tanabata Matsuri in Ueno (details). Find her full schedule here.
