Late 2023, keyboardist Emerson Kitamura released a 6-song vinyl EP titled "COVERS 2003". Included are cover tracks from three 7" singles that were released 20 years earlier and had gone rare since. All songs were performed on his bass pedal-equipped organ, accompanied by a TR-808.
"COVERS 2003" is available on 12" vinyl, and also digitally. They can be found directly via the artist's Bandcamp.
It has been announced that Emerson Kitamura will be supporting French artist Manuel Bienvenu for a Japan tour to be held at the end of February 2024. A new album by Manuel, titled "oh do we", will be released in advance on cassette and CD via Emerson's label bubblingnotes, and sold during the tour which will start on February 21 in Okayama, then go to Kobe, Kyoto, Nagoya, to end in Tokyo at Shimokitazawa 440 on February 29. A web flyer of the tour details can be found here.
