Tokyo's Coolest Sound

Last weekend, on Sunday June 13, was held an event to celebrate the 10th anniversary of two bands, Elektel and Pyokn, incidentally formed around the same time. The event was held from 15:00 to 21:00 at the café/lounge area of Sasazuka Bowl, a popular bowling lane, so the show was enjoyed with people bowling in the back.

I got there around 16:00 and chatted with Elektel's Polymoog and Uehara Kenichi (aka Ueken), and I got to touch an iPad for the first time, as they use one in their show.

This Tuesday, the day before the release of mini-album "6 FORCE", Aira Mitsuki gave her first in-store show of a promo tour. I went to have a peek. Held on the 7th floor of Ishimaru Soft, a large software store (games, movies, music) in Akihabara, the seated space of over a hundred seats was full and there were many people watching from the back. I got there just in time as there weren't anymore seats left, but then again I prefer to enjoy my techno-pop while standing.
