Original Love (aka Tajima Takao)'s latest album "bless You!" has just been released on vinyl! Also a new music video for title song "bless You!" has been released, as well as the full length videos for "Acrobat tachi yo" and "Zero Set". Check them out below.

Tajima Takao will have shows in Tokyo on September 29 at Shibuya WWW X, on November 10 at Akasaka Blitz, and on November 24 at Shibuya O-East, all part of his "hitori Soul Tour 2019". Tickets are on sale.

Here's another 7" single release from Negicco, from the monthly series that started in June. This time is 2011 single "koi no Express Train", which was their 2nd release on label T-Palette. Both songs were written and produced by connie.

Negicco's vinyl re-issue project goes on, with upcoming releases of mini-album "Get It On!" and album "Negicco 2003~2012 Best" planned for October and November respectively.

Also, a brand new single titled "I Love Your Love" will be released on September 24. Stay tuned!

This is a greatest hits album of Hosono Haruomi works, including his solo music and also Happy End and Yellow Magic Orchestra. This first release, which comes as a 2-CD or 3-LP set of 38 songs, was compiled by singer-songwriter Hoshino Gen (ex-Sakerock) who is a great fan of Hosono and had appeared on his "Yellow Magic Show 2" TV show that aired on NHK last January.

The LP edition will actually be released later on September 25, on which date another greatest hits album compiled by Oyamada Keigo (Cornelius) will also be released! Stay tuned!

There will be special shows celebrating the 50th anniversary of Hosono's debut. First there's a 4-day series of events to be held at Ebisu Garden Place from October 11 to 14 (find all details here, tickets go on sale August 31), then on November 30 will be a "special 50th anniversary show" at Tokyo International Forum Hall A, followed on December 1st by a show titled "Hosono Haruomi Yellow Magic Show 3" at the same place (tickets will be sold from September 28).

This is a new single coming from music-themed anime series "Carole & Tuesday". The song "Polly Jean", sung by the two main characters, has music written and arranged by Oyamada Keigo (Cornelius), with lyrics by Leo Imai (METAFIVE).

A vinyl 12" edition is also being released at the same time.

By the way, the recently released soundtrack "TV Anime 'Carole & Tuesday' Vocal Collection Vol.1" had a song sung by Maika Loubté (as character Cybelle). The album is available on CD (CDJapan, Amazon) and also on iTunes and Spotify. A "Vol. 2" album will be released on October 9.

"Polly Jean" (Short ver.)

This is a live album of Takahashi Yukihiro, of a show that followed the release of album "Saravah Saravah!" (the 40th anniversary remake of debut album "Saravah!"). The show, which was held on November 24, 2018 at Tokyo International Forum Hall C, featured the album in whole and then some more. The live band had musicians including Gondō Tomohiko and chorus group Smooth Ace, and also a guest appearance of Hosono Haruomi.

The album comes in two formats: a CD+DVD set, of which both discs contain the whole show, and a LP edition of also the entire show on two 12" records. Amazon gives away a promo badge (while supplies last) unless you opt with the CD+DVD with a discount.

chelmico, 2-girl rap unit formed of MCs Rachel and Mamiko, has a 2nd major album being released this month! This time there are tracks made in collaboration with Mikeneko Homeless, ryo takahashi and Toshiki Hayashi (%C), and also Chikada Haruo who wrote a song used in a Sokenbicha tea commercial that featured the duo.

Tokyo Panorama Mambo Boys, the 1 DJ + 2 percussionists unit of Comoesta Yaegashi, Paradise Yamamoto and Gonzalez Suzuki, is re-releasing its first single "Pachinko" in vinyl format! The two songs were originally featured on first album "Mambo tengoku" (1991) and on 8cm CD single. The B-side is a cover of Pérez Prado's "Al Compás del Mambo".

Both tracks can be sampled at Jet Set.

Originally released on CD in 2005 on label Readymade International (CD release), this single sung by Nomoto Karia and produced by Konishi Yasuharu was the opening theme song for anime series "Sugar Sugar Rune" (based on the manga of the same name by Anno Moyoko, who wrote the songs' lyrics). The B-side was also used as the ending theme for part of the episodes. The title song is an homage to France Gall's hit song "Poupée de cire, poupée de son".

This is the first time these songs are released on 7".

This is a compilation of the best from Pizzicato Five's Nippon Columbia years (Triad/Readymade), which featured vocalist Nomiya Maki. The whole was supervised and selected by Konishi Yasuharu himself, with art direction by Shindō Mitsuo like in the day.

Now pay attention to the two formats. First is a boxed set of sixteen 7" records! A limited number of which includes a photo signed by Konishi Yasuharu and Nomiya Maki. Plus, those who pre-order by August 31 should get one bonus 7"! If this all sounds too good to be true, don't wait any longer.

The other edition, to be released three days later, is a 2-CD album of pretty much the same songs, with a few differences such as the inclusion of single versions of "Happy Sad", "Baby Portable Rock", and "La Règle du Jeu". The CD edition may come with promo goodies, at Amazon Japan with a large reproduction of the jacket artwork, HMV gives a postcard and Tower Records a sticker (all while supplies last).

It has been announced that the album will also be made available digitally worldwide at the same time as the release!
