Original Love has a brand new single out this week! Included are two other new songs, plus a remix by Miura Kōshi (Kuchiroro). The release also comes with a DVD of the title song's music video plus live footage from last year's tour.

Original Love's "25th Anniversary Tour" is to start June 18, stopping in Tokyo on July 9 at Showa Women's University's Hitomi Memorial Hall. See all dates here.

This single from latest Sailor Moon series "Sailor Moon Crystal 3rd Season" contains ending theme "otome no susume" that was written and produced by Konishi Yasuharu (Pizzicato One)! Also, the opening theme "New Moon ni koi shite" was produced by Yakushimaru Etsuko.

The release comes with a DVD of TV-sized opening and ending themes, plus full-size digest clips of both songs.

"New Moon ni koi shite" (Produced by Yakushimaru Etsuko)

Electro/techno-pop idol trio Cupitron's new single is a cover of the theme of "Galaxy Express 999" (in Japanese "ginga tetsudō 999", with "999" read "three nine"). The original was performed by band Godaigo and released in 1979. The new cover is produced by Cupitron's usual producer, Tobeta Bajune. Also, Matsumoto Leiji, the manga artist of "Galaxy Express 999", designed Cupitron's brand new costumes with a theme of "fairies of a digital world". See more photos at Natalie.

The single comes in 3 editions, each of which has a different B-side. The limited edition comes with a bonus DVD of the title song's music video.

A one-man live will be held on June 11 at club Womb in Shibuya.

"Galaxy Express 999"

Nanba Shiho has released a new album recently. Included are two songs written and produced by Tore Johansson, one of which has lyrics by tofubeats, with other songs written by The Charm Park, sugar me, etc. This is the first release on Nanba Shiho's own label sparkjoy records.

Opening with a cover of the theme song from movie "kimi mo shusse ga dekiru", the album is filled with originals taking inspiration from a post-war to Showa-40's (until 1974) Japan. Guest musicians include Takada Ren (pupa), Gondō Tomohiko (Metafive), Yabe Hiroshi (Musement, ex-Carnation) and Ueno Yōko (asterisk).

Kaji Hideki celebrates this year the 20th anniversary since his solo debut in 1996. I've lost count, but "The Blue Boy" is said to be his 15th original album! His back-band on this album is formed of Furukawa Taichi and Satō Hiroshi (both of Koncos), with other musicians including Horie Hirohisa (Neil and Iraiza), Matsuda "Chabe" Gakuji (Learners, Neil and Iraiza) and more.

A release party will be held on May 27 at Astrohall, with Koncos, The Natsuyasumi Band, ayU tokiO and DJ Konishi Yaruharu. Shows at Billboard Tokyo (June 14) and Shibuya Club Quattro (August 4) will follow, and also the Peanuts Camp festival to be held on August 20 and 21 which is curated by himself.
