Tokyo's Coolest Sound

In the mid-80's, Japan saw a phoenomena so-called "kyonshi boom", kyonshi referring to the Chinese zombies who jump with their hands forward. Now it's official, the kyonshi boom is back! There are boxed sets coming out, the popular Ten Ten is making TV appearances, and a brand new kyonshi film, "Shaolin Kyonshi" (2004, Hong Kong), will be playing this November.

"Shaolin Kyonshi" is said to be a mix of kung-fu action and mixing in some knug-fu action, and it features Chia Hui Liu (aka Gordon Liu) who played in Kill Bill.
